The Sport 1 car top carriers features and aerodynamic wedge shape.  Lower in front to help cut the wind.  13 cubic feet capacity holds about as much gear as a medium/small car trunk. It measures 14 inches high in front, 18 inches in back and 34 inches wide and 38 inches long.  This carrier is designed for most smaller cars with or without a luggage rack. 

Notice the ZipRight zipper system.  This is a urethane coated zipper located IN the flap not under the flap.  Unlike all other car top carriers, ZipRight does not catch water under the flap.  Water blown up under the flap while driving is repelled and important design to help keep your gear dry.  See diagram below.

Every Sport 1 car top carrier includes four sets of StrapRight strapping system.  Easy to use with or without a luggage rack.  Simply loop it around your raised luggage bar or attach the two ends together and strap through your car and over the gear.

We use thick dual layer HydroTuff material. UV resistant on the outside, waterproof vinyl on the inside.  The carrier has a great canvas, sturdy feel.
